take 2556 exp to reach max level, which can be fused for 6,000 XP (9,000 same attribute).
don't need to be leveled and can be fused for 30,000 XP (45,000 same attribute).

This dungeon is more popular than Metal/Gold/Jewel Dragons because the Pengdra cycle, on average, yields much more experience for a fairly low cost and the last floor guarantees an evolved Pengdra in contrast to urgent dragon dungeons' extremely low chances of high/king appearances outside of 2x King events and the last floor only having a 1 in 3 chance of dropping a high dragon.

When TAMADRA make appearances in Pengdra Village during events, they are invades, meaning they have a chance to appear alone on a non-boss floor and always drop. Check the current event schedule to see if there is an ongoing or upcoming event where TAMADRA will make appearances in Pengdra Village.

Penguin Farming

Due to the large difference in the amount of experience provided, most players evolve Pengdras before feeding them to other monsters. They are at max-level immediately after evolving, so there's no need to level them further.

There are 2 major complaints when making use of the Pengdra cycle:

Evo materials: Large numbers of Dragon Seed and Dragon Plant are needed, which can only be efficiently farmed once a week from Thursday Dungeon. The various Metal/Gold/Jewel Dragons can only be acquired from the Urgent Dungeons (Metals are practically every day so they're easy to get; the three Jewels appear less frequently but are still fairly easy; Golds are hard since their dungeon rarely appears outside of events). However, you can also obtain them from various low-level dungeons like Tower of Giants (which can also get you Dragon Plant).
Storage space: Because Dragon Seeds and Dragon Plants can only be refilled in bulk every Thursday, it makes the most sense to stock up a lot of Dragon Plants at once, eating up storage space. In order to complete the Pengdra cycle, a lot of monster boxes are needed to store Dragon Seeds, Dragon Plants, and Pengdras.

It is generally recommended to stock up as many max-leveled Pengdras and Dragon Plants/Seeds as possible. Then, when the urgent dragon dungeons open, you can immediately evolve your Pengdras with the Metal/Gold/Jewel Dragons you get.
