Rainbow Team

Rainbow teams make use of leader skills newly added in Ver 4.4, where the player receives X times attack power when he attacks with various colors. This multiplier is usually pretty high, and is easier to accomplish than Combo Teams, so these teams have become well-loved by mid-to-high-level players.

Sample Leader Combinations

These combinations are only examples. In practice, you should match up teams according to what you have and what you need. Note: 4-color and 5-color teams will not work in tri-color dungeons

Gem1Gem2Gem36.25507i950i951iFor normal players farming coins in Weekend Dungeon.
Gem1Gem4Gem5 6.25 608i Low cost and rarity; useful for cost limited (Draggie! & Tengu!!!) or rarity-limited (RO ACE Collab) dungeons. Active skill voids certain attribute attacks for 3 turns.

Gem1Gem2Gem4 9 835i Godsend for non-IAP players; Max Murai won many stones for JP players by conquering many descends on official live streaming events using this.
Gem1Gem4 9 1272i
Non-IAP 2-color leaders, but hard to find friends because they are hard to evolve. Completely immune to binds when fully awoken. Also fit well in other rainbow teams as damage reduction subs and/or HP sticks.
Gem2Gem4 1273i
Gem3Gem4 1274i
3 Colors9492i493iEasy to activate and an appealing multiplier - suitable for players of all skill levels. Shines even more in tri-color dungeons in combination with easy high combos. Note: In tri-color dungeons without Water Orbs (e.g. Ancient Dark Dragon), please consider whether you should be bringing this team.

Any 3:Gem2Gem4Gem5Gem612.251400i1401iVery similar to Chinese God's easier Ult Evo, but instead of a full board change, has an attack and orb change. Note: This lead can have a 2 color team and disregard one color because of the heal orb.
Gem1Gem3Gem4 12.25 745i746i1263i Active skill turns all orbs into required colors, but there is still a low chance to be short on one of the colors.

4 Colors16490i491i1396i1397iTougher to activate, but the multiplier is extremely high. Achievable with a bit of thought/effort
4 Colors including Gem6161237i1238i1394i1395iTougher to activate, but the multiplier is extremely high. Achievable with a bit of thought/effort. Easier than Horus because healing counts too. Mainly seen as a healer team (DQXQ)
4-5 Colors16-24491i x 497iFor early-to-mid-game dungeons, safer than the 36x team below - if you match only 4 colors instead of 5, the 4x multiplier will still kill many minor enemies.
16-20.25 994i Safer than the 36x team below - if you match only 4 colors instead of 5, you still have the same firepower as 491i.
16-25 995i Safer than the 36x team below - if you match only 4 colors instead of 5, you still have the same firepower as 491i. Requires a mythical level evo material.
Gem1Gem2Gem3Gem425751i752i1218iTougher to activate than Horus, but multiplier is higher, with a mini-gravity useful against bosses or mini-bosses. No less practical than Horus despite more stringent condition.
Gem2Gem3Gem4Gem525801i802iTougher to activate than Horus, but multiplier is higher, with helpful orb change skill, and versatility in forming teams. No less practical than Horus despite more stringent condition.
Gem1Gem2Gem3Gem4Gem536496i497i998iAttacking with all five colors is very difficult, but it should still be a bit more achievable than an 8-combo team, and has a higher multiplier to boot.
5-6 Colors including Gem616-49999iActivation made easier by inclusion of healing, with a commensurate drop in multiplier. On the other end is an extremely high 49x multiplier, achievable via Change the World or careful manipulation of the board.

Recommended Subs

Any dual-color monsters will count as attacking with two colors, freeing up slots for other helpers. Ultimate-Evolved Heartbreakers (692i693i694i894i984i) are particularly suited here because their active skills will change "useless" heart orbs to attacking orbs, making it easier for you to match that color.

Note: In tri-color dungeons, please carefully consider whether you should add teammates without their corresponding colors
